High technology: inauguration of a 300 million dollar plant in Hà Nam 2017-05-28
The Seoul Semiconductor Vina plant was inaugurated on 27 May in the industrial area Dong Van 1, Duy Tiên District, Han province (North) by the South Korean company Seoul Semiconductor.
With a total investment of 300 million of dollars, the plant covers more than 7.5 ha. Specializing in semiconductors, LED lamps and spare parts, it will create 3,000 jobs.
At the inauguration, the chairman of the Hà Nam People's Committee, Nguyên Xuân Dông, reported that the South Korean-owned Seoul Semiconductor Vina plant was Hà Nam's biggest high-tech project.
Welcoming the completion of the factory two months before term, he felt that the project was consistent with Ha Nam strategy in the development of high technologies as well as its socio-economic development plan.
