France : Seven groups Inaugurate Alliance PR Platform in Le Mans 2017-06-07
Operational since one week, the PSA Le Mans parts platform, developed at the initiative of seven distribution groups in the Greater West, is inaugurated this Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
Among the 40 expected PSA Parts platforms in France in 2017, two projects in particular stand out: that of Obernai, which gathers the Avenue CAR groups, Grand Est Automotive, Retail and PSA Nedey and that of Le Mans, which meets not less than seven operators. Do not want to lean on the platform of a competing group (Mary, Dubreuil, Gemy ...) , and especially anxious to retain control of the spare parts business, the Berrezai, Bayi groups ,This, Xavier Guénant, Leon, SDA Tournessi and Carpier were thus associated 18 months ago to create in Voivres-lès-Le Mans (72) their own logistics site.
The 8,000-square-meter platform, Alliance PR, is scheduled to supply twice a day the delivery of original parts and Eurorepar in concessions, agencies and MRAs in the departments of Sarthe, Mayenne, Île- Villaine, Manche, Maine-et-Loire, the Pays de la Loire and the Deux-Sèvres. This site should represent a turnover of around 100 million Euros over a full year.
"This entity wants to be independent and autonomous from a legal, commercial and financial point of view," says Didier Berrezai, leader of the eponymous group and president of Alliance PR. The itinerant sellers who previously depended on concessions are now attached to the Le Mans platform. However, we keep very light stocks of parts in our stores, which represent a value of 30,000 to 40,000 Euros, "says the Breton leader.
In addition to the platform of Le Mans (cut-off between 10 am and 11:30), the logistics system is also structured around several relay sites namely parts stores concessions Flers, Vitre and Cholet, which will serve daily the distant affairs.
"After such a change, and before considering conquering new players, the objective is primarily to stabilize our business with our customers and increase our service level," concludes Didier Berrezai.
