We specialize in remanufactured engines, and we re-manufacture and rebuild our engines on site to ensure quality. Our engine experts do custom orders for any application. In addition to re manufacturing engines, we do the following machine work: Bore and hone Surface and refresh Crankshaft kits Valve jobs and turn cranks Engine removal and installation Rebuild engine kits Gasket sets Short blocks We have been providing excellent customer service since 1987. Our regular customers know us for our attention to details, and our re manufactured crate engines meet the highest in quality standards and are built to OEM specifications. Our business is located Downtown just south of Weber and E. Cimarron St.-near the Colorado Springs Police Department. Ace's puts quality at the top of our list because your product has to last. An intensive process control system is used to monitor all aspects of the re manufacturing process. Components are inspected after each operation and procedure. At the Ace's engine re manufacturing plant, extensive research goes into casting, machining, and tolerances, new part vendor selections and product applications, in addition, operators go through training that focuses on unique processes. Potential problem areas may then be identified and corrected. Each core is disassembled and inspected. Those components not suitable for processing are scrapped. All parts are cleaned and tolerances are checked. Worn parts are replaced. All major components (crankcases, cylinder heads) are baked in gas-fired ovens to carbonize grease and dirt.
